Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced today that Doug Fabian earned the designation of Certified Safety Professional (CSP), endorsed by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
Fabian, who joined the firm in 2018, is a Senior Project Environmental Health and Safety Scientist. He creates effective training programs and curriculums that adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements while managing other programs and initiatives. He also works with clients on root cause analysis and regular site auditing. Fabian also manages, develops and organizes information for safety compliance, conducts safety training and audits, and supervises operations to ensure comprehensive health and safety requirements are met.
The Certified Safety Professional is the premiere certification in the safety profession, covering a wide range of safety, health and environmental disciplines. It is earned by those who demonstrate competency in the prevention of harm to individuals in the workplace. Those who wish to attain the credentials must have a bachelor's degree, four years of safety experience and pursue ongoing professional development.

Fabian received his bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is certified in OSHA for General Industries, American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Instructor and Mine and Safety Health Administration Competent Person. He is on the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and is a member of the Wisconsin Lakeshore Safety Council, American Society of Safety Professionals and Federation of Environmental Technologists.
