Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is proud to announce the hiring of Karoline Qasem as a Project Manager.
Qasem is spearheading the growth of water quality, stormwater management and permitting markets at Fehr Graham. Her diverse background encompasses civil and environmental engineering and urban planning. Specializing in modeling, Qasem is well-versed in water quality, watershed and hydrodynamic modeling for regulatory permits and nutrient criteria limit development. She also excels in urban planning, hydraulics and hydrology, stormwater management, ArcGIS and large-scale watershed mapping, spatial analysis and coding for data analysis.
Qasem holds a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza. She earned a master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. She serves on the steering committee for the Calumet Stormwater Collaborative and is the Chair of the Illinois Water Environment Association Watershed Management Committee.
