Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is proud to announce the hiring of Scott Sanders as a Senior Project Manager. He brings more than two decades of experience in civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning and consulting. He is positioned to help lead the firm with his experience and visionary leadership.
Sanders' career includes an eight-year tenure as the Village Administrator for Roscoe, Illinois, where he also served as the Zoning Administrator and Plats Official. Before that, he founded and ran Sanders Design Group.
Now, he leads Fehr Graham's Landscape Architecture team and elevates this service line. Sanders is also enhancing services for the firm's municipal clients He plans to employ his experience in the public sector to guide clients through complex logistical, budgetary and political landscapes while identifying and expanding service opportunities.
He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He serves on the Rockford Discovery Center Board of Directors and is President of the Riverfront Museum Park Board of Governors. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. A passionate advocate for Rockford's downtown, Sanders also served on the Historic Preservation Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
