FREEPORT, ILLINOIS
PERIOD OF SERVICES
January 1990 to Present
Titan Tire Corporation purchased the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's Freeport, Illinois, tire manufacturing facility in 2005. At that time, Titan hired Fehr Graham to serve as Titan's environmental consultant for the company's eight U.S. locations.
Our primary emphasis for the manufacturer and global leader of off-road tires and wheels is to help each location maintain year-round compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.
Fehr Graham developed site-specific Environmental Management System (EMS) for each of Titan's locations. The EMS allows the individual plants and Titan's Corporate Environmental management team to monitor and track environmental regulatory compliance at each location. The electronic format allows remote and immediate access to environmental data.
Fehr Graham performs Environmental Compliance Assessments (ECAs) at each Titan facility on a rotating basis. Our team completes an ECA with an in-depth review and evaluation of operational practices in relation to the regulatory requirements of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, Toxic Substances Control Act and Department of Transportation with a written summary identifying potential gaps or opportunities for improvement.
Our team of environmental health and safety professionals are a part of Titan Tire. We bring value to Titan Tire by meeting all compliance needs so the company can focus on day-to-day operations.
