The Glen Avenue reconstruction project in Peoria, Illinois is now complete.
The City of Peoria, Illinois, celebrated the completion of Glen Avenue roadway from War Memorial Drive to University Street, a $13.6 million project designed to improve traffic movement. The newly built roadway features fresh concrete pavement, new curb and gutter, upgraded storm sewers, new traffic signals, and pedestrian accommodations, including improved sidewalks and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant ramps. Fehr Graham provided the design, specifications, and estimates for the project, refining the subgrade and subbase to address challenging soil conditions with innovative solutions, ensuring the road's long-term durability.
