Ebony Coleman certified Professional in Human Resources

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced that Talent Acquisition Coordinator Ebony Coleman earned the Professional in Human Resources certification.

The Human Resource Standards Institute, which sets the global standard for HR expertise and excellence by advancing people, issued the certification. By passing the two-hour exam, Coleman demonstrated she knows the technical and operational sides, including laws and regulations, of Human Resources management. This certification is for those with experience in implementing programs with tactical/logistical orientation and emphasizes operational responsibilities for the Human Resources department.

Coleman, who joined the firm in 2021, manages recruitment for Fehr Graham's 15 locations. She identifies potential hires and interviews and evaluates candidates to fill positions. She also plays a role in our employer brand development efforts, ensuring that Fehr Graham continues to attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees. She oversees the firm's internship program, too.

Coleman, who is part of Fehr Graham's administrative team, earned her associate degree in Business Administration from Rasmussen College.
