Speakers to address stormwater management at municipal conference

Experts on stormwater utilities will present at a conference geared toward Illinois municipal officials. Dean Frieders, Pingree Grove Village Manager and Attorney, and Noah Carmichael, a Professional Engineer and one of Fehr Graham’s seven owners, will present on best stormwater management practices at the Illinois Municipal League Conference at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago.

Their presentation gives a complete assessment of municipal stormwater operations and long-term operating considerations. Municipalities typically proactively manage water and sanitary sewers and reactively resolve stormwater issues during development or flooding.
